Who I am? | El Anaquel de Melo

Thank you for having come this far,

let me tell you who I am.

Let's begin by explaining who I am.

Well, my name is Carmelo Pérez Herrera, everyone knows me by Melo, I only remember that Carmelo called me my mother when she was angry.

I am a bartender, cocktail shaker and let's avoid (for personal preference) the word "mixologist" that although beautiful and romantic one does not stop you from putting highballs, rum&coke or

scotchs'n sodas ...

Cocktail maker, yes! Bartender yes!

My idea is simple, to gather the knowledge related to the bar and the cocktail bar, which I have been collecting throughout my career, and to translate it all into an easily accessible website.

Serving as a reference and starting point for those who are starting in this industry and who, like me in my early days,

they look for where to direct their attention.

Likewise, I offer you my services, as a consultant and coach advisor, for this exciting world that is the bar, the science of flavours and the world of cocktails.

I would like to take a minute and thank all those who were at some point and will continue to be my mentors. I will be naming them in the course of the letters.
